Honor : A Story from Jordan

-On in this story "Honor" talks about Honor Killing. Uncle Nabeel was talking about the values of his family, that he raised on, that values that he took from Islam without thinking of it's real meaning and in which situations could apply.
.
In addition, he applied Islamic roles from his point of view which he saw right, and he want to kill his daughter because she did something wrong and she must be killed because Sawsan "his daughter" broke one of the values that shouldn't any one broke it, so he put himself as someone how knows the exact Islamic role in situation like this, and he started to say that kill Sawsan is the only way to restore his honor.



-Yasmeen and her family have completely different values from Uncle Nabeels values. They were democracy and free, and I know that from the way of discussion that they had when Yasmeen told them Sawsans story.


-The author strongly disagree with Uncle Nabeels values, I felt that from the way that she presented his ideas, beliefs and handling others.


-My own values of regarding the issue of "Honor Killing", I absolutely disagree with that issue, because this tradition issue and out of Islamic law.
